Maija Olkkonen-Seppo

Designer and graphic designer specialising in packaging. Founder of Packdesign ID Oy together with graphic planner-designer Emma Kosonen. Worked from 1994 to 2008 as the Design Manager of LUMENE Group (earlier, Orion Group Plc NOIRO), and was the founder, head and senior designer of the Design Department. Her main responsibility areas included development of visual corporate identity, visual design of all branded and trade mark products and package design and planning as part of product development and brand building. Maija’s and her team’s work is currently visible in all product packages of Lumene Cosmetics, Cutrin and Farmos Oy throughout the world.

Maija has also supplied package design for Orion Pharma and Kesko Plc, graphic design for various customers, and furniture design for ISKU Group Plc.

Since 2001, she has worked as a trainer and consultant in the field. Her clients include the Finnish Packaging Association, Stadia, the Design Institute of the Lahti University of Applied Sciences and Design Museum.

Emma Kosonen

Graphic designer and industrial designer by education. Founder of Packdesign ID Oy together with graphic planner-designer Maija Olkkonen-Seppo.

Worked in a number of advertising agencies as AD and Assistant AD since 1990 and designed packages for KiiltoClean Oy, Stockmann and the Academic Bookstore, among others. In 2005-08, she worked in LUMENE Group’s design team where she was in charge of corporate identity design, design of Lumene products, and design and graphic design of Farmos Oy products.
